Karatu to Serengeti Central Game Drive
After breakfast, you depart Karatu and travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive itself is part of the experience, offering beautiful highland views and glimpses of Maasai villages along the way.
As you descend into the Serengeti ecosystem, the landscape opens into vast, golden plains stretching as far as the eye can see. Entering Serengeti Central (Seronera), you begin your first game drive in one of the most wildlife-rich regions of the park.
This area is known for year-round sightings of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and large herbivore herds. The afternoon game drive introduces you to the raw beauty and scale of the Serengeti.

The experience always starts very early, just before sunrise, rewarding you with breathtaking views and incredible game sightings from above. This activity can be added at an additional cost—simply let us know if you would like us to include it in your itinerary.
